Bert Wilson, Woodworking & Repairs

Bert Wilson helps Brian in the shop on Tuesday & Wednesday mornings. He works on repairing furniture by re-gluing, and replacing parts as needed. He also refinishes furniture working to keep the original character by updating the finish. He prefers not to strip down the furniture to the bare wood, but to clean it up and restore it.

Brian Johnson, Owner

I have been working in the upholstery field since 2002. I have worked for various shops in the region. Working for different shops has provided me the opportunity to work on a variety of furntiure and see different styles and techniques. 

I am passionate about furniture, fabrics, and upholstery. I believe that good furniture should be like your favorite sweater, not only look good, but feel good too!

I purchased the shop in April of 2009 from Daniel Lee Upholstering. Currently I am the only upholsterer in shop. I am working on making some changes to the shop if you haven't been in lately you should stop in and check out the showroom! 

From time to time you might also see my wife, Adrianne Johnson helping out in the shop.

I help out when I am not working at my day job. You are more likely to see me on Saturday morning. I work in the office, do the window displays, and work with Brian to design our show pieces. I shop and seek out unusal and unique furntiure for our showroom. From time to time I also do special projects for customers such as milk paint or special finsihes. Please inquire with Brian about if you are looking for something differnt or a different finish on your furniture.
